I was hoping someone from the UK could help me identify what pelmet interfacing is. I know what a pelmet is but not what this specific type of interfacing is. I was thinking something firm but padded?? No one seems to have a clue at the fabric store. I'm gathering materials to try some projects from the Jane Austin Embroidery book and several projects ask for this interfacing to be used. Thank you, Sue H.

I have a pattern calling for reversed chain stitch and other videos haven't been helpful to me. I seem to really "get" it when I watch your tutorials.

Thank you so much! I had perchased a kit that had the wrapped outside ring. My dog got ahold of it. It smelled like wood and chewed like wood. I had some leftover fabric from a little horse barn quilt that i made for my 6 year old granddaughter loves horses. It had similar colors and flowers that were in the cross stitch boot that i stitched. Below the boot, it says, "Life is better in boots." Needless to say, the boot is a flowery cowgirl boot. I ended with an inch of extra fabric after wrapping the outside hoop. The fabric was wide, but not long, so i used four pieces of the fabric and stitch them in place once i had them wrapped. Your video helped me get through it. Many thanks. May God bless you and your family. ❤

I learned basic blanket stitch as a child. I have used it many times over the years, in particular because I was a Guide leader and camp blankets are traditionally edged with blanket stitch. You are usually so focused on showing us how to start off stitching. Today I decided to make a felt needle holder and use different blanket stitches on each pair of pages. I soon realized that I always find it difficult to start stitching blanket stitch neatly. So I searched for this video. I can’t believe that for once, on a different type of fabric, you demonstrated a stitch that can usually be seen both front and back, yet you didn’t show us how to start off this very different stitch. I managed today by hiding my threads in the felt, but this won’t be possible on different fabric. Please can you show us how to start and end this stitch on different fabrics please.

I enjoy your videos so much! I particularly like how you use a split screen so we can see both you and a close up of exactly what you are doing. I love doing spirals as well as concentric circles. I am working on a "DOT" project (see Jeri Bellini's Dot-A-Day videos), and I'm finding myself stitching these spirals quite often on my dots. By the way, I do need to comment on your beautiful hands and fingernails! They certainly are a lovely addition to your slow stitching demos. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. 🤗
